MacRebur Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Republic of Moldova

MOLDOVA’s Prime Minister helped officially launch a new branch of plastic roads firm MacRebur in their country last week.

At a grand opening ceremony, Dorin Recean welcomed the Lockerbie company to Moldova.

“The Straseni production unit will serve not just Moldova but also neighbouring markets in Romania and Ukraine, showcasing Moldova’s impact on developing tech and sustainable solutions.”

International business officer Roddy McEwen said: “MacRebur Limited is delighted to announce the opening of our new manufacturing facility in the Republic of Moldova.

“We were joined by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, PMP, MBA, Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Secretary of State Viorel Garaz and British Ambassador Fern Horine at the grand opening in Straseni.

“We look forward to an exciting future in Moldova working alongside our partner DorSa Group.”

MacRebur also has factories in Estonia, Turkey, United States of America, New Zealand and Spain and its pioneering bitumen replacement product containing waste plastics has been laid on roads, airports and car parks worldwide, including Bahrain, Canada, Greece, France, Switzerland and Malaysia.
